This month we heard from Karen Harris, The Mindful Sage & Ann Shorthouse, from Taunton Kinesiology.
Karen Harris – The Mindful Sage – is a registered mindfulness teacher accredited with Breathworks to teach both Mindfulness for Health and Mindfulness for Stress courses. She has also completed training with Exeter University to teach the “Finding Peace in a Frantic World” course. Karen has been teaching courses & introductory sessions for 4 years to a variety of groups and has also run one to one sessions and courses for individuals. She runs a regular meditation group at home. Karen also works regularly at The Sangha House in Taunton, teaching mindful meditation and also the new course she has co-written to introduce mindfulness in gradual stages to those who cannot commit the time to a full 8 week course. Ann Shorthouse – Having run her natural health, beauty and nutrition business for nine years, Ann is passionate about introducing people to alternative ways of looking after their health.
She recently completed the Kinesiology Balanced Health training and is also Reiki trained and has attended numerous courses in nutrition and meridian tapping (EFT), all of which she draws upon within her treatments. Ann uses gentle muscle testing to detect and balance food sensitivities, organs which are out of balance, emotions impacting the body and nutrient deficiencies, allowing the body to communicate the root cause of many illnesses to restore health and wellbeing. http://tauntonkinesiology.co.uk
